<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optometer for correctly performing a test for near point. <P>SOLUTION: The optometer is equipped with: an optometer main body having a pair of left and right lens chamber units with an optometry window arranged respectively therein, and subjectively testing the refractivity of an eye to be inspected; a near point rod extended forward from the optometer main body; a near point optotype presentation unit which is movably arranged in the axial direction of the near point rod; and a holding means for holding the near point optotype unit so as to be movable in the eye width direction of the subject. The holding means is the means for holding the unit so as to be movable in the eye width direction of the subject with respect to the near point rod, or holding the near point rod so as to be movable in the eye width direction of the subject with respect to the optometer main body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
