IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE, PROGRAM, AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an effective preview display of a three-dimensional print to allow easy recognition of the three-dimensional part of an image printed three-dimensionally.

SOLUTION: Upon a command for a preview display, a control part 14 fetches image information for three-dimensional prints from a storage part 16 via a spool device 17. Its resolution is converted by a resolution converting part 141 and the image is delivered to a print simulator 142 as an image of contracted size for preview processing. The print simulator 142 extracts a three-dimensional part from the image (image information for three-dimensional prints) for preview processing and, based on the extraction result, creates from the image information an image which differs in the configuration of the three-dimensional part from the image to be printed out. The image is then displayed in a display part 20 as a preview.
