SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR EDITING MULTIMEDIA FILE USING INTERNET

PURPOSE: A system and a method for editing a multimedia file using the Internet are provided to edit a moving image file without a program medium by downloading a multimedia editing program through the Internet. CONSTITUTION: A client(100) uploads the moving image file to a server and writes a multimedia editing command file. The server edits the moving image file by using the resources of the server based on the multimedia editing command file received from the client. The server includes a resource database(920) storing the resources and the resource information, a user file uploading module(500) storing the file uploaded from the client to the resource database, a resource information processing module(600) transmitting the resource information to the client by responding to a request of the client, and a moving image editing module(800) editing the moving image file by using the resource depending on a multimedia editing command received from the client.
