PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chrominance signal correction apparatus and method in which a color video desired by a user can be reproduced by enabling the user to regulate a gain by hues and correcting a chrominance signal reflected with the gain regulated by the user, and to provide a video signal processing system and method in which a color video desired by a user can be reproduced although it is simple with respect to a video signal inputted by using the above chrominance signal correction apparatus. SOLUTION: The video signal processing system includes an OSG providing part for providing information in the state of characters and/or graphics on a display, an OSD control part for providing a level by hues of a video signal onto the display via the OSG providing part and for receiving a user-based hue regulation value corresponding to the video signal, and a chrominance signal correction part for reflecting a chrominance signal of the inputted video signal with the hue regulation value received via the OSD control part to correct the chrominance signal.
