PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform high-speed image processing without increasing the capacity of a RAM when performing image processing using a plurality of look-up tables in an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: When writing two look-up tables LT2, LT3 in N look-up tables LT1, LT2, ..., LTN stored in a ROM into an image processing memory 252 in this order, a table management part 254 appropriately translates address data outputted from an address calculating part 253 in an address translating part 254 and outputs the address data to the image processing memory 252 to store the look-up table LT2 in the ascending order of addresses from a leading address of the image processing memory 252 and to store the look-up table LT3 in the descending order of addresses from the final address of the image processing memory 252.
