PURPOSE: A simple-structured transmission mounted between a bevel gear and a differential gear is provided to reduce the weight and cost by decreasing noise, vibration, and the number of parts by separating and positioning a clutch unit and a wheel reduction gear assembly between the bevel gear and a differential pinion gear. CONSTITUTION: Rotary power generated from an engine of a vehicle is transmitted to an output shaft through a torque converter and the power of the output shaft is transmitted vertically to a bevel gear unit comprising a bevel pinion gear(1) and a beveling gear(2). The beveling gear transmits power to a clutch unit comprising a forward clutch unit coupled in forward and a reverse clutch unit coupled in reverse. The forward and reverse clutch units are connected to each differential gear case(14). The differential gear case transmits power to a differential pinion gear(26) and a driving shaft(25). The driving shaft is disposed to a reduction gear assembly mounted to an axle assembly(500) and the vehicle is driven by the reduction gear assembly.
