Boss axes (6) are provided on a pair of supporting walls (5a, 5b), which are opposed to each other, on a base (1). Flat surfaces (6a) of the boss axes (6) are tilted relative to the center line of a release groove (8) in a latching position, so that the releasing direction of a handle (2) in the releasing position is positioned on the opposite side relative to the operating portion (2d) of the handle positioned in the latching position. Accordingly, overlapping lengths between circular arc surfaces (6b) of the boss axes (6) in the unlatching position and the inner peripheral surface of a bearing hole (7) can be increased. Therefore, surface pressure applied to the boss axes (6) of the base (1) can be reduced in the unlatching position and thus the handle supporting strength can be improved.
