PURPOSE: A rubber modified weather resistant resin composition and its preparation method are provided, to improve weather resistance, surface gloss, appearance, heat resistance and impact strength. CONSTITUTION: The rubber modified resin composition comprises 5-15 parts by weight of an ethylene-α-olefin-based rubber polymer; 1-10 parts by weight of a styrene-butadiene copolymer; optionally 70-90 parts by weight of an aromatic vinyl compound and a cyano vinyl compound; and optionally 100 parts by weight of a solvent. Preferably the ratio of the aromatic vinyl compound and the cyano vinyl compound is 70-80 : 20-30 by weight. Preferably the α-olefin of the ethylene-α-olefin-based rubber polymer is selected from the group consisting of propylene, 1-butene, 1-pentene, 1-hexene and 1-octene, and the ethylene- α-olefin-based rubber polymer has a Mooney viscosity of 25-40 (125 deg.C) and a weight average molecular weight of 10x10¬4 to 40x10¬4.
