The method involves controlling an imaging device (10) to acquire and transmit X-ray images to a processing unit (5). Intermediary images are reconstituted by the processing unit, based on the acquired images. The intermediary images are interposed in between the acquired images, such that the frequency at which a display unit renews displayed image is higher than the frequency of acquiring the images from the device. An Independent claim is also included for a device for visualizing X-ray images.
