PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic cellulose ester composition comprising a component having a small environmental load mainly having a cellulose ester of a biomass material, and thermoplastic cellulose ester fibers which are composed of the composition, excel in melt spinnability and productivity, and excel in not only strength/elongation properties but also uniformity of fineness. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic cellulose ester composition comprises at least 70-95 wt.% cellulose ester having a degree of ester substitution of 2.5-3.0, 2-20 wt.% plasticizer, and titanium oxide particles having a primary particle diameter of 2.0-0.08μm.
