PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a down pipe cover body covering down pipes installed on external wall surface of a building and replaceable in a simple way. SOLUTION: This mounting structure is composed of a down pipe 1 installed on the external wall surface F of a building by means of a down pipe support means 4, a down pipe joint 2 connecting the down pipes 1 in a vertical direction, and a decorative cover body 3 attached to the down pipe joint 2 to cover the circumference of the down pipe 1. An engagement protrusion 31 is protruded longitudinally from the inner surface of the decorative cover body 3, and a groove 23 with which the engagement protrusion 31 fits is formed on the external surface of the down pipe joint 2 opposite to the engagement protrusion 41, and the engagement protrusion 31 of the decorative cover 3 is attached by being fit with the groove 23.
