<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten time which is required for ejection of a droplet when a liquid is ejected to a plurality of targets. <P>SOLUTION: An inkjet printer 11 is equipped with a reciprocating carriage 15, a recording head 20 which is mounted on the carriage 15 so as to emit a jet of an ink droplet from a nozzle, and a paper guide 26 on which paper P to undergo the jet of the ink droplet is placed, so as to be fed in such a manner as to face the recording head 20. The paper guide 26, whereon a plurality of pieces of the paper P are placed in an arranged state, is provided with two edge guides 26c and 26d which are to be moved along the paper guide 26. The edge guides 26c and 26d each bring one side surface of the paper P into a fixed state.
