<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a vacuum booster 4 of an automatic clutch controller to improve its loadability on a vehicle and to perform the control of high response. <P>SOLUTION: This automatic clutch controller comprises the vacuum booster 4, a master cylinder 6 operated by the fluid pressure output from the vacuum booster 4 and generating the hydraulic pressure, and a slave cylinder 12 to which the hydraulic pressure generated in the master cylinder 6 is supplied through a hydraulic pressure pipe conduit 8 for connecting and disconnecting a friction clutch 10. An on/off control solenoid valve is built in the vacuum booster 4, and a solenoid valve 14 is further mounted on the hydraulic pressure pipe conduit 8 between the master cylinder 6 and the slave cylinder 12. When the clutch is disconnected, the hydraulic pressure side solenoid valve 14 is opened, and the vacuum booster 4 is promptly operated by the vacuum side solenoid valve. When the clutch is connected, the duty control is performed on the hydraulic pressure side solenoid valve 14 to smoothly connect the clutch 10 by controlling the returning of the hydraulic pressure from the slave cylinder 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
