PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image transmitting/receiving device with little interference, capable of appending data such as ID codes to an image signal with no constraint on the time or data volume, and without the need for complex signal processing or modulation method, and for controlling the reception by the data such as ID codes. SOLUTION: At the image-transmitting/receiving device, data is modulated byFSK (frequency shift keying) modulation in a frequency band unused by an image signal, and the FSK-modulated data are added to the image signal to obtain a multiplex signal of the data and an image, and the multiplex signal is transmitted and received.
