PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compulsive suction method of an inkjet printer head in which a suction means can always maintain the suction force without being in contact with an ultraviolet curing type ink, and can surely carry out a recovery operation for the head, and to provide a compulsive suction device and an ink-jet printer. SOLUTION: In the compulsive suction method of the inkjet printer head, there are set a suction cap 2 which presses to stick to a nozzle face h of the head H of the inkjet printer which uses the ultraviolet curing type ink, the suction means 4 connected to the suction cap 2 via a piping for suction 3, at least one ink reservoir tank 5 in the halfway of the piping 3, a first opening and closing valve 6 between the suction cap 2 and the ink reservoir tank 5 at the piping 3, and a second opening and closing valve 7 in the halfway of a piping for discharge 8 which is connected to the ink reservoir tank 5. The suction means 4 is operated in a state while the first opening and closing valve 6 is opened and the second opening and closing valve 7 is closed. After the ink of an amount not larger than the capacity of the ink reservoir tank 5 is sucked and stored from the head H via the suction cap 2, the operation of the suction means 4 is stopped.
