METHOD AND DEVICE FOR FIXING WAVELENGTH USABLE FOR SPECTRUM MONITORING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately fix the light signal which is inputted by a simple member to a wavelength conforming to a fiber communication standard channel. SOLUTION: When split beams are incident on an etalon, a different angle of incidence is given them by the combination of a diffraction grating and etalon to generate a different optical path. A different continuous spectrum generates a difference or ratio of a different signal after computation processing and the difference or ratio is provided as a feedback signal for a servo system to stabilize the center wavelength of an incident light source and monitor the half-value width energy of the light signal.
