<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply device for properly supplying fuel in a supercritical condition. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel supply device uses a pump 5 for pressurizing the fuel and a heater 8 for heating it to be put into the supercritical condition and supplied to an engine 2. When the fuel is put into the supercritical condition, a pressurization starting timing for the pump 5 is differentiated from a heating starting timing for the heater 8.
