PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film which has transparency and thermal resistance and is superior in productivity and economical efficiency to thereby produced industrially suitably and has less optical distortion and is hardly discolored caused by a change over time due to heat and ultraviolet rays from a light source or the like, and by temperature and humidity for use, etc. and is superior in secondary workability such as adaptability to print, adhesion or various coatings. SOLUTION: The optical film is made of a material containing a cycloolefin copolymer which has specific cycloolefin structure units (A) and specific acrylic structure units (B) and has specific cycloolefin structure units (A) not made adjacent to each other.
