PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily fit a paper detection unit with a mounting plate part of a base member, without inserting fingers holding the paper detection unit into a narrow space in the lower side of the base member. SOLUTION: The paper detection unit U is fitted with the base member 11 by sandwiching the mounting plate part 13 of the base member 1 between locking claws 66, 67 and an abutting face 65. The lower side locking claw 66 is protruded from the paper detection unit U in the state of being widened forward, and the upper side locking claw 67 is extended in an orthogonal direction with the abutting face 65. The paper detection unit U has a size to be held with fingers F of a hand and a length to be protruded below the mounting plate part 13. When the paper detection unit U is operated rotatably around an inserting portion of the lower side locking claw 66, the upper side locking claw 67 is inserted into an engaging hole 15 and the abutting face 65 abuts on the mounting plate part 13.
