PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal insulation paper cup that has thermal insulation effects and is highly safe. SOLUTION: The thermal insulation paper cup comprises an inner cup 1 and an outer cup 2. The inner cup 1 has a bottom portion 12 and two annular projections 11 on its periphery. A proper amount of film foaming material is applied to part of the inside of the outer cup 2. Thereby, when the outer cup 2 covers the inner cup 1, a foam space is defined in an area between the two annular projections 11 on the periphery of the inner cup 1. By covering the inner cup 1 with the outer cup 2, both the cups are integrated. Further, the inner cup 1 and the outer cup 2 are firmly joined by the annular projections 11 of the inner cup 1. Further, after heated and dried, the film foaming material 3 forms a slightly thick thermal insulation protective film inwards within the foam space. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
