PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Bi series (2212) oxide superconductor in which deterioration of characteristics by composition fluctuations at heat treatment is prevented. SOLUTION: A plurality of Bi series oxide superconductive filaments are arranged in silver matrix, and a silver alloy in which 0.02-1 wt% of at least one kind or more elements selected from ( Mg, Al, Sb, Zn, Zr, Y, Ni, and Mn) are added to Ag for the purpose of reinforcement and 0.05-2 wt% of at least one kind or more elements selected from (Bi, Sr, Cu ) for the purpose of diffusion prevention are added, is arranged, therby, the Bi series oxide superconductor having a desired composition and the superior characteristics is obtained.
