<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balloon catheter capable of preventing the fixing part of a balloon from being disengaged when an excessive load is applied by increasing the balloon fixing power in the axial direction of the catheter, inflating the balloon in a predetermined shape and deflating the balloon without forming creases, and being easily operated without being a resistance when the balloon catheter is returned. <P>SOLUTION: The balloon catheter consists of a balloon winding part 17 for pressing and fixing the end of the balloon 3 disposed as covering the outer surface of the catheter 1 to the outer periphery of the catheter 1 and a holding thread 19 for fixing the balloon winding part 17 and the catheter 1 and restraining the balloon winding part 17 from moving in the axial direction of the catheter 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
