INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, TRANSMITTER, AND RECEIVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accept inputs of more various operations in a small device.

SOLUTION: The transmitter 1 includes an oscillation circuit to generate an induced current in a human body via electrodes in contact with a finger. An RF signal from the transmitter 1 is received by a receiver 2 via a transmission path of the human body. When a thumb of a user H touches a coil wound on a ringlike member of the transmitter 1, the frequency of the RF signal generated by the transmitter 1 is reduced. On the basis of the frequency difference, the receiver determines whether the thumb touches the coil wound on the ringlike member of the transmitter 1 or not. A continuous touch of the thumb on the coil can be thus detected. The system can be applied to a wearable computer.
