PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a gray scale expressing ability of a display when the display displays dynamic images by utilizing the visual property of man's eyes. SOLUTION: The expressing ability of a screen for the gray scales of dynamic images is measured by combining a still image and a dynamic image generated from an image generator with a man's-eyes vision simulator which can simulate man's eyes or the measuring actions of the man's eyes.
