PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective method for producing the intermediate for synthesizing pyrazolopyrimidines for sexual impairment treatment. SOLUTION: The method for producing a compound represented by formula (IXA) or (IXB) or a pharmacologically or veterinarilly allowable salt thereof comprises reacting 4-aminopyrazole-5-carboxyamides with substituted benzoic acids, wherein, R1is a 1-3C alkyl or the like; R2is a 1-6C alkyl; R3is a 1-6C alkyl that may be substituted by a 1-4C alkoxy; R4is SO2NR7R8(wherein, R7and R8are each a piperazinyl group that may be substituted by an alkoxy or an alkyl).
