PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting method of an imaging apparatus coping with customization and capable of suppressing a mount cost while effectively utilizing components and the imaging apparatus mounted by the mounting method. SOLUTION: When an improper operation is found out after an imaging unit 101 is assembled to a board, since it is estimated that a CMOS image sensor 2, an analog signal processing circuit 25, an analog / digital converter 26, or a timing signal generating circuit 29 is defective and it is not required to decompose the imaging unit 101 for the purpose of recycling them, the imaging unit has only to be on the scrap.
