PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose an optical head device provided with a magnetic driving mechanism which can improve driving sensibility in a tracking direction of a lens holder. SOLUTION: In the optical head device 1, effective side parts 92a, 93a, 94a and 95a are parts of driving coils 92, 93, 94 and 95 for tracking and facing driving magnets 98 and 99 for tracking focusing. In the positions of the both sides of the driving magnets 98 and 99 for tracking focusing, that is, in the positions facing the invalid side parts 92b, 93b, 94b and 95b of the driving coils 92, 93, 94 and 95 for tracking, auxiliary yorks 74, 75, 76 and 77 are arranged, which lead the magnetic flux from driving magnets 96 and 97 for focusing tilt arranged in the direction right to the driving magnets 98 and 99 for tracking focusing to the invalid side parts 92b, 93b, 94b and 95b.
