PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate cleaning of a thermistor for measuring temperature of a heating roller without disassembling the housing. SOLUTION: In a fixing device equipped with the heating roller 21 housed in the fixing housing 19 and a thermistor 23 which comes into contact with an outer peripheral surface of the heating roller 21 and measures the temperature of the heating roller 21, an insertion hole 24 is formed in the fixing housing 19 and the thermistor 23 is inserted into the fixing housing 19 with freely inserting / taking-out from the outside of the fixing housing 19 through the insertion hole 24 and the thermistor 23 inserted into the fixing housing 19 through the insertion hole 24 is attached to an outer peripheral part of the fixing housing 19 with freely attaching / detaching.
