INK SET FOR INK JET RECORDING, AND METHOD AND DEVICE FOR INK JET RECORDING USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink set for an ink jet recording with which a high density black image can be obtained on various ordinary papers and which exhibits a short drying time, and a method and device for the ink jet recording using the same ink set.

SOLUTION: This ink set for ink jet recording for forming a black image part of a color image with a black ink and color inks is characterized in that the black ink at least contains a cationic or an anionic self dispersive carbon black, and that the color ink contains at least a substance having a reverse polarity to that of the self dispersive carbon black. The method and device for the ink jet recording by using the same ink set are also provided.
