<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oily ink best suited to various inkjet recording systems which shows no smearing in recorded images and has good water resistance, light resistance and storage stability. <P>SOLUTION: The oily ink comprises an oily medium and a coloring matter as main ingredients, wherein the coloring matter comprises at least one azo-based dyestuff represented by general formula (1). The oily ink is used in the inkjet recording system. The oily ink shows good storage stability. This is a good oily ink particularly when used as the ink for the inkjet recording system in that high quality images with no smearing can be formed by using the oily ink and the recorded images have properties excellent in water and light resistance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
