PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely perform gear shift operation when a changeover error of a claw clutch occurs in gear shift operation, by performing resynchronization by means of a bypass clutch and reengegement of the claw clutch. SOLUTION: When the claw clutch is moved to a predetermined target position to be brought into contact with a gear train, and the engagement of the claw clutch is not completed even if a preset engagement waiting time has already elapsed since the movement of the claw clutch to the target position had been instructed, the claw clutch is returned to a position other than the target position and not engaged with other gear train, and the claw clutch is once again moved to the target position, while synchronizing the number of rotations of an input shaft with the number of rotations of the gear train engaging the claw clutch.
