PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imitation sound generating system capable of generating an imitation sound only when the imitation is necessary sound such as when the presence of human and being easily installed in a toilet room. SOLUTION: Casings 20a-20c are respectively installed in private room spaces 8a-8c, and imitation sound generators 22a-22c, human body detection sensors 24a-24c for the private spaces, and control circuits 26a-26c are respectively installed inside. When there is no human body in a common space 6, the imitation sound is generated only when human bodies present in two or more private spaces.
