PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging paper box for a sandwich, which make it possible to check the kind of a sandwich upon opening the lid of the packaging box, and poses less problems in disposing of the packaging box. SOLUTION: The packaging box comprises a first side wall 2 and a second side wall 3, which are opposite to each other and have a right-angled isosceles triangle shape. A square lid strip 8 is formed on a hypotenuse of the first side wall 2 via a fold 28, and folds 25, 31 and 26 are formed on the first side wall 2 and the second side wall 3, respectively, to make the packaging box flat folded state as a whole. A joining strip 5 is formed consecutively on the bottom side of a back wall 1, connected to both side walls 2, 3, via folds 24, 27 while a joining strip 5, 6 are formed consecutively on the obliqueline of the second side wall 3 via folds 24, 27. A bottom wall 12 is glued to the joining strips 5, 6 to make the packaging box foldable in two. A peephole 10 is formed on the lid strip 8 and is covered with a transparent synthetic resin film 11.
