2-METHOXYPHENOL DERIVATIVE AND INK COMPOSITION CONTAINING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a 2-methoxyphenol derivative capable of improving the light fastness and dispersibility of an image simultaneously.

SOLUTION: This 2-methoxyphenol derivative is expressed by chemical formula 1, which has a characteristic of ultraviolet-absorption, and not only improves the light fastness of the image but also its dispersibility. Therefore, in the case of adding the compound to an ink composition, the dispersibility and light fastness are improved simultaneously without adding any different light fastness-improving substance.
