PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester combined filament yarn having a high-class worsted feeling and high stetchability and affording a fabric having excellent nonglitter effects. SOLUTION: The polyester combined filament yarn is composed of at least one kind of polyester and is obtained by combining and interlacing two kinds of fibers having mutually different heat shrinkage percentage. The combined filament yarn is obtained by converting low-shrinkable fibers into latent crimpable fibers having 0.5-8.0% shrinkage percentage in boiling water and converting highly shrinkable fibers into latent crimpable fibers having≥10% shrinkage percentage in boiling water and≥1.5% percentage crimp after a boiling water treatment. Any of the low-shrinkable fibers, highly shrinkable fibers and combined filament yarn are not subjected to false-twist texturing. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
