The stair lift has the double booms of a triangular lattice girder forming the running rail of the lift, the plastic made rollers (5) of which are guided on the bars (1,2) through cut in slots and move the lift by friction. The running rollers has toothing in which engages a pinion which is motor driven. The plastic rollers are installed on the running gear which regardless of the inclination of the running rail is always kept in the horizontal position by a motor driven threaded spindle.
