PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability by fitting a decorative roof tile batten seam 20 without a play and put an accent on a horizontal roofing metal plate. SOLUTION: In the metal fitting 10 for fitting a decorative roof tile batten seam 20 to a metal roof, an insertion piece 12 is inserted in the connection part of a ridge-side metal roof plate 30U and an eaves-side metal roof plate 30D, a contact part 11 is fixed to the eaves-side end face 35 of the ridge-side metal roof plate 30U. Mounting pieces 13R, 13L are extended from both sides of the contact 11 in the width direction to ridge sides at the same level with the eaves-side part of the ridge-side metal roof plate 30U. The decorative roof tile batten seam 20 has an open bottomed cylinder. Both side walls 21R, 21L are bent inward. Since seats 22R, 22L are pinched in a narrow distance between the fitting pieces 13R, 13L and the ridge-side metal roof plate 30U, the play of the decorative roof batten seam 20 set in the horizontally laid metal roof is reduced.
