An ulnar osteotomy jig and method for using the jig for the correction of ulnar impaction syndrome. The jig has a flat top, a concave bottom that is adapted to closely conform to the surface of an ulna and an oblique cutting guide. Two holes are defined in the jig and extend between the top surface and the bottom surface. When in use, the jig is secured to an ulna with two surgical screws that pass through the holes defined in the jig. A surgeon cuts the ulna with a bone saw into two pieces using the cutting guide of the jig. The two cut ends of the ulna pieces will be repositioned, thereby adjusting the ulna to the proper length and the ulna pieces will then be secured together with surgical screws.
