A helical conveyer shoot is formed of cylindrical sections 1 placed one upon another, each section having disposed rigidly therewithin two helical portions 2, the portions being welded to each other and to the section. The sections 1 are fixed rigidly to each other by bolts at flanges 4, so that helical portions 2 form a complete helical shoot. The shoot is supported resiliently by support 6. A group of six helical portions may be cast as one whole and then cut by a torch to form the six individual helical portions. |
