The plastics film bag (10) has a lower film layer (11) and an upper film layer (12), bonded together at the lower edge (13) and the side edges (14) to form a pocket opening (21) at one end. The lower layer projects beyond the upper layer to form a closure flap (16). An adhesive (19) is between the closure flap and a cover (17). The cover is bonded to the flap at its upper edge (18), to be folded over. The layers, flap and cover are all of the same material.
