NETWORK-BASED CONTROL METHOD USING SPEAKER VERIFICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PERFORMING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A network-based control method using a speaker verification method and an apparatus for performing the same are provided to control a gate by applying the speaker verification method using a user's voice characteristic. CONSTITUTION: A user picks up a telephone receiver(S210). The user inputs a user ID according to a guide message(S220). The user inputs the voice according to the guide message in order to compare and extract the user's voice characteristic among various kinds of voices(S230). The user's inputted voice is compared with the user's registered voice(S240). The user's authentication request is rejected if the user's inputted voice is not identical with the user's registered voice(S260). The user passes the authentication process if the user's inputted voice is identical with the user's registered voice(S250). A gate is controlled if the user passes the authentication process(S270).
