PURPOSE: A drier is provided to reduce noise from rotation of the drum by discharging air from the heater through a discharge duct to the drum and passing the high temperature and low humidity air through the laundry, and to cut down cost by simplifying the structure for supporting the drum. CONSTITUTION: A drier comprises a drum(60) supported in a casing(52) to contain the laundry; a heater(70) installed in the casing to heat air; a discharge duct(74) discharging air heated by the heater to the drum; a baffle(80) rotated and arranged in the drum to lift and drop the laundry; an exhaust unit(90) guiding air from the drum out of the casing; a blower fan discharging internal air from the drum out of the casing by blowing; a driving unit rotating the baffle and the blower fan; a spring(61) connected to the upper part of the casing and the drum to suspend the drum in the upper part of the casing; and a damper(62) connected to the drum and the lower part of the casing to buffer and support the drum in the lower part of the casing. |
