PURPOSE: A method for pumping water by using differential atmospheric pressure is provided to pump water to a higher place by using a smaller amount of energy. CONSTITUTION: Air is injected into a tube(1) by operating a blower. Air existing between the tube(1) and a tank(2) is exhausted through a valve(6). An iron net is provided at an upper portion of the tube(1) in order to prevent the tube(1) from being upwardly expanded. When the tube(1) makes contact with the tank(2), an inlet of a pipe is closed so that an air flow between the tube(1) and an exterior is shielded. Then, water is fed into a pumping pipe in such a manner that the pipe and the tube(1) is filled up with water. Then, the value is closed so that an upper portion of the tube(1) is filled with water without air. At this time, the inlet of the blower is opened and the blower is operated.
