PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and its metallic cover locking device are provided to lock or unlock a metallic unit employed for protecting a member such as a housing of a mobile terminal and providing various colors of the member. CONSTITUTION: A front surface edge(10d), a side surface(10c) and a lower surface(10d)of a main body housing(10) are covered by the first metallic cover(110), and the first metallic cover(110) is attached to and detached from the main body housing(10) in a vertical direction. A front surface edge, a side surface and an upper surface of a folder(20) are covered by the second metallic cover. A locking unit tightly attaches the first metallic cover(110) to the main body housing(10). The first metallic cover(110) includes an antenna opening(122) through which an antenna housing(112a) penetrates and a cylindrical mounting space where a mobile locker of the locking unit and a support frame are coupled. The main body housing(10) includes a cylindrical coupling space for receiving the mounting space(140). The first metallic cover(110) also protect a battery pack(130).
