PURPOSE: An apparatus for protecting a lamp for a refrigerator is provided to prevent damage of a lamp or a lamp cover covering the lamp in the process of taking out or putting in a tray containing foods. CONSTITUTION: A lamp(41) is installed in an installation groove(33b) formed inside a storage chamber(33) of a refrigerator to identify foods stored in the storage chamber of the refrigerator. A lamp protecting wall is formed on the storage chamber to protect the lamp, facing downward. The lamp protecting wall is formed with an inner case(31) of the refrigerator, having a lamp cover(43) shielding the installation groove.
