<p>Integrated digital/analogue (D/A) converter circuits (30) are used to convert a number (n) of input image point data into image point voltage signals and divide the input image point data into at least two (n/2) input image point data in order to generate the divided image point voltage signals, where n is a whole number. Integrated output buffer circuits (48A, 48B), each with a number (n) of channels, where n is a whole number, are used to receive the divided image point voltage signals, buffer them and send them to each one of a number (n) of data lines, at least two of these circuits being connected together with each of the D/A converter circuits. A time control unit (28) is used to control the D/A converter circuits and output buffer circuits, provide a number (2n) of image point data to each of the D/A converter circuits in accordance with a sequence supplied by the output buffer circuits and generate a time distribution of the image point data in order to provide at least two regions each comprising a number (n) of image point data, where n is a whole number. Each D/A converter circuit is mounted on a support strip packaging connected to the LCD screen panel. Each output buffer circuit is mounted on the LCD screen panel. Independent claims are also included for two additional data control devices.</p> |
