PURPOSE: A method for analyzing an attenuation phenomenon in an OFDM communication method is provided to predict the performance of an OFDM communication system by analyzing the attenuation phenomenon of the OFDM communication system. CONSTITUTION: A method for analyzing an attenuation phenomenon in an OFDM communication method includes a process for analyzing a frequency offset according to various channel models, Doppler spread, an SIR according to a sampling rate offset, and effective SNR considering the SIR in order to analyze performance of a wireless channel of a high-speed wireless OFDM communication system. The analyzing process is performed by using a computer simulation method. A flat frequency response channel is used as the frequency channel model. The influence of the frequency offset is analyzed by using an office area and a resident area environment channel model, which are proposed by a JTC(Joint Technical Committee).
