PURPOSE: A device for displaying a counting number and automatically resetting a default value on a bill counter is provided to maximize user's convenience by automatically resetting the default value if the counting number is the same as the default value, when a user counts bills after inputting the default value. CONSTITUTION: A key part(4) inputs a bill counting setting value. A driving motor(12) rotates a counting wind by being operated under control of a controller(11). A counter sensor(13) transfers bill counting information counted by feeding the bills to the counting wing to the controller. A display part(5) respectively displays the counting setting value set by key input and the counting value received from the counter sensor. The controllers sets/displays the default value to the display part if the counting setting value is not inputted from the user. If the user counts the bills after inputting the counting setting value, the controller displays the setting value by automatically resetting the counting setting value with the default value after the counted bills is unloaded.
