The present invention relates to a signal processing and control device for a power torque tool. The signal processing and control device is adapted to be removably engageable with the body of said power torque tool, to be operable to process pulse signals representing pulses of torque being received from a torque sensor adaptor of the power torque tool in order to provide a shut-off signal to the power torque tool dependent on the received pulse signals, and to be powered by the power supply of the power torque tool. <IMAGE> |
