PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relatively immediately recognize the stop of providing a service by the other electronic apparatus when the service is stopped in association with the turning OFF of a power supply in an electronic apparatus for providing the service for the other electronic apparatus, based on the IEEE 1394 standards to be connected via an IEEE 1394 serial bus in the electronic apparatus based on the IEEE 1394 standards. SOLUTION: The electronic apparatus is based on the IEEE 1394 standards, and provides the service for the other electronic apparatus based on the IEEE 1394 standards to be connected via the IEEE 1394 serial bus. When the provision of the service is stopped in the electronic apparatus, information regarding the service is deleted from a configuration ROM, and a bus reset signal is transmitted.
